Josephson Engineering, Inc. is a small company that's rapidly growing. The three principals of the company, David Josephson, Kelly Kay and David Gordon, work fulltime at the shop in Santa Cruz, California where all our microphones are made. There are other fulltime and part-time employees too and more will be added as we grow.

March 2007 Announcement

The tech position noted here in March has been filled. But, we're always looking for good people. If you're interested in a 100% hands-on position involving precision electromechanical assembly and test, send us your resume. We build entire microphones, their electronics, housings and capsules. Some soldering is required, both on circuit boards and hand-wired assemblies. Good vision and mechanical dexterity are the primary prerequisites, as the parts are tiny. Good analytical and communication skills and an independent working style are important. Analog electronics troubleshooting background is helpful but not necessary. Generally we start out new people part time for a few weeks and transition to full time as soon as practical.
